About Evangeline

Hello, my name is Evangeline Montgomery. At a young age, I was orphaned. My sister “Itty,” who was a baby at the time, and I, were sent to the Salem Orphanage in Colarado. When I was 6, I was adopted by a missionary couple named Robert and Sarah Randall. Soon after, they moved to India, taking me along. I never forgot my sister.
Growing up in India was exciting. Not only did I see all kind of exotic animals, but I also got to witness firsthand as the Randall’s showed Christ’s love to the villagers there. They told me, too, about Jesus, and about His sacrifice for us. My time in India greatly impacted my life.
At the age of 22, I had a dream where I was told to go to the Bluebridge Home for Girls in Colorado. I was hesitant. Traveling from India to Colorado was not a little thing. Not to mention, I had never even heard of the Bluebridge Home for Girls. What if it didn’t even exist? Still, I felt an urge so strongly, that I had to go. What if this was God sending me? Another orphanage in Colorado... what if there’s a purpose behind all this?  Alone, with my carpet bag and a few small coins, I boarded a ship for America. That’s where A Greater Purpose begins...

Here is me with Mrs. Randall right before I left for America.
