About the Writer

     Hi! My name is Laura and I'm the writer behind A Greater Purpose. I'm a daughter of the King, and my goal is to bring Him glory through this story, and in all I do. Some things I enjoy are playing the violin, spending time outside, cooking and baking, and of course, writing. Last October I was able to publish my first book, Leaning On the Everlasting Arms.       A Greater Purpose is a story I began writing, one chapter at a time, to post on my main blog, Flowers In My Basket. I decided to make this site as a place to store all the chapters, and to post additional fun things. I may include journal entires by Evangeline, guest posts by other characters, and anything else related to A Greater Purpose. I will also be posting future chapters on here.

     In September of 2021, my dream to publish A Greater Purpose finally came true. It's available as an e-book, paperback book, and hardback book. You can buy a copy here!
